Gamers Helping Sick Kids: Extra Life

Monday this week was a beast, so no time for Music Monday. Just learn to accept disappointment, and you just might make it through this life.

Take a moment to check out Extra Life. Go ahead, I'll wait.

Done? Good. For those of you with short attention spans, Extra Life is a charity that benefits the Children's Miracle Network through marathon gaming. Yeah, that's right. Gamers play games, people give money to help sick children. Winners all around.

If you'd like to be an epic hero, you can sign up here and play to benefit your local Children's Hospital. If you'd just like to donate and don't have a gamer in mind, I suggest backing the beautiful and talented Sophie Breca, a.k.a., Eaderbreca.

Have fun, help people. If everyone lived their life by that motto, I think the world would be a better place.
