Mrs. Tunnel and I took a trip to the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition this weekend. Quite an interesting exhibit, and really cool to find out the level of influence the man had on modern machinery.
I took a few pictures, to give an idea of what's there. I'm no photographer, but you get the gist of it. There were a few activities available (like trying to build Da Vinci's bridge...think giant Lincoln Logs), a guided tour, a self-guided audio tour (bring your smartphone!), and (of course) a gift shop. Check out their page for more info. If you're in the St. Louis area, it runs until October 13. If you're in the Denver area, check out Da Vinci & Michaelangelo Side-by-Side through October 20. Da Vinci will be moving to Bradenton, FL, in mid-November.
